Title: Set Phasers to Stun
Ship: D/G
Rating: PG-13
This is wrong in so many ways.
His lips, her neck. The color of his sheets and the color of his shirt he’s laid out for her to sleep in.
So wrong.
His hands, her hips. The way he holds her firmly, anchoring her down, both sensing and knowing that she’ll be swept away.
Too wrong.
His eyes, her breath. The intentness he has as he looks at her, watching her breath hitch, pressed close, hip to hip.
It’s all wrong. But they’re very good – he’s a fluent liar, and she’s a practiced pretender. The easiest person to fool is yourself, and they’re very good at what they do best.
This is wrong because it won’t end well. This is wrong because he knows very well the lies she tells herself when she looks at him. And he wants to tell her that to stop it, stop believing those lies. Because they are lies. You can’t change who you are. And he won’t change. And he doesn’t love her enough to hide it. Really. That’s not a lie.
Title: A Decade Under the Influence

“Just once,” she told him.
But he’s too persuasive, and the next time, and there is a next time, she tells him, “The last time.”
But his words are too clever and his hands too deft and his voice too soft, and so, the next time, she just sighs. The resignation leaves him darkly angry. He wants her to be as feverish as he is, as cold as he is because he will not suffer alone. Not when it’s her fault, and he’s convinced she’s the one to blame.
Then one night it’s “just once more.” He says nothing, just holds her tightly and rocks them both to sleep. Her breathing is slow and even, and he likes the sound as much as he likes draping a leg over her, imprisoning her with his body. He likes that his shirt is too big for her and the neckline reveals her collarbone.
When she’s gone, he realizes that he can’t fall asleep alone anymore. It’s a terrible habit he must break on his own, and he’s worried that it’ll break him before he can stop it.

BTW. I have been following your journal; I'm sorry I don't get to comment that often. I'm in my senior year of high school and it's college application time, so it's a little stressful and hectic - anyway, my point is, I'm a huge Tristan/Rory fan! And I *so* think that it's possible for Tristan to make a surprise appearence. I mean, his family was rich, he could get in Yale, right?
